Attendees will learn the essentials of falls prevention, tips for talking to their doctor, strategies for home modification, exercises and more.
Classes are held at Shock Trauma Center at 12:00pm the first Friday of every month

Falls Prevention- SLIP Program
SLIP is an evidence based program designed to address the needs of older adults, who are at risk for poor outcomes following a fall injury. This is a 40 minute class with the option for tests and take home information. Goal is to address older adult falls, recognize good nutrition can help decrease injuries, increase awareness about knowing your medications and side effects, teach you how to fall proof your home.
