We are once again honored and pleased to hold the 43rd annual meeting of Point/Counterpoint May 7-8, 2026, in Baltimore, Maryland.

This two-day program will focus on the state-of-the-art management strategies from common clinical issues, as well as challenging and controversial topics. Back by popular demand, Point/Counterpoint will again offer afternoon breakout sessions tailored to the specifics of a wide range of “hot button” trends and relevant topics. This choice of sessions will appeal to a wide variety of participants.

Baltimore is a major city in Maryland with a long history as an important seaport. Fort McHenry, birthplace of the U.S. national anthem, “The Star-Spangled Banner,” sits at the mouth of Baltimore’s Inner Harbor.

Today, this harbor area offers shops, upscale crab shacks and attractions like the Civil War–era warship the USS Constellation and the National Aquarium, showcasing thousands of marine creatures.

Many Baltimore neighborhoods have rich histories. The city is home to some of the earliest National Register Historic Districts in the nation, including Fell’s Point, Federal Hill, and Mount Vernon. Baltimore has more public statues and monuments per capita than any other city in the country.
