Adult Level II Trauma Center

Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center (JHBMC) is a designated Level II Adult Trauma Center, serving eastern Baltimore City, eastern Baltimore County, Harford, and Cecil Counties. In the past year, JHBMC treated 2,650 trauma patients, ranking among the busiest trauma centers in Maryland. The Trauma APP Service has expanded, ensuring specialized care for better patient outcomes, and the center actively participates in research and community outreach, including “Stop the Bleed” initiatives and trauma awareness events.
